Is it possible to cross the border with Cambodia, while driving a (Vietnamese) motorbike. And after that cross the border with Thailand?
I bought a motorbike in Hanoi, and I'm riding the HCM trail at the moment. After that I want to cross the border with Cambodia (Kampot, or towards Phnom-Penh). Is this doable? And if so, which borders are recommended? And after Cambodia I want to cross the border with Thailand, towards Trat (Koh Chang).
And how easy or hard will it be to sell my motorbike (Honda Dream) in Cambodia, or Thailand, instead of Ho Chi Minh?
It is impossible to cross border with Cambodia or Thailand by any transportation. You only travel by land.
Honestly, I think selling Vietnamese motorbike in Cambodia is not difficult because 2 countries do business and trade with each other. the matter is you can not bring your motorbkie cross the border. over 3 years agoAnswered by matt joey
None sense! Surely it is possible to cross the border from Vietnam to Cambodia, even on a motorbike. Strange answer you gave. And I will try to cross the border with Thailand also, on a motorbike. Will get back to this subject in a few days over 3 years agoAnswered by Peter 2 Meter
You can cross, just allow tons of time and be extra patient. . We crossed at Poipet twice, and while it's a chaotic mess, it's okay. There seems to be a lot of people who will try and guide you across for a fee, but you shouldn't need to do that. over 3 years agoAnswered by Heidi
I crossed the border of Pailin, no problem at all, very fast, and did not pay a thing! over 3 years agoAnswered by Peter 2 Meter
